There’s No Place Like Yonkers!

Filling up two buildings in an unknown community. theONswitch was brought in to brand and lease-up 66 Main and METRO92 (a converted trolley barn) on the Yonkers waterfront.
Focus
Constructing a strong brand (starting with great names and personalities), website and social media, SEO, and SEM strategy for each building, a fully integrated marketing plan, and analysis system (to ensure we didn’t overspend). We examined how other real estate companies marketed rental properties, but then we chose to “break the rules.”
Buzz
We launched the brands using unique print materials, an online contest (featured on ABC-TV news) , a mention in the New York Times real estate section, and well-trafficked “Yonkers Loves Renters” events (including one featuring a custom “geothermal” cocktail).
Profit
All units are leased. The tenants and landlords are happy. And Yonkers becomes a cool place to live! (Van Der Donk is smiling in heaven.)
